Joey and Anna LeGath are taking strides to further their legacy of serving the Racine community and its surroundings. With almost three decades of experience in the tavern and food industry, the LeGaths are aiming to enhance their local presence. In 2019, Joey and Anna acquired Joey's Yardarm, previously known as the Yardarm, and in May 2023, they expanded their business by purchasing Buckets Pub 2nd Round. Joey's upbringing in the food industry, with his father owning a restaurant, has fueled his commitment to carrying on the family tradition.

Joey is embarking on a new venture with the recent acquisition of his restaurant, Joey’s Yardarm, formerly known as the Yardarm in downtown Racine. This tradition dates back to 1966, when Joey's father, a police officer in Milwaukee, relocated to Racine and established the first George Webb restaurant. Since then, the LeGath family has been proud owners of a small business in Racine.

Joining Joey in this expansion is his nephew, Tyler, 38, who brings his extensive culinary expertise and passion for creating dishes from scratch using high-quality ingredients. Together, they aim to introduce a diverse menu, featuring a blend of classic bar food and fresh, healthy options, to cater to a wide range of preferences. By combining time-honored traditions with innovative changes, Joey’s Yardarm is set to pave the way for a prosperous future in downtown Racine.
